Hi, as you already know my name is Danielle and I'm from Chicago, IL. I am in the 7th grade and I LOVE TIGER WOODS! I'm making this site as a school project and out of my love/obsession with Tiger Woods. I like all sports including basketball, volleyball, track, softball, and much more. A Growing Tiger
Eldrick, or as usually called Tiger, Woods was born on December 30, 1975. He is the son of Earl Woods, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, and his wife, Kultida, a native of Thailand. He was nicknamed, Tiger, after one of his father's friends, who was one of his allies in Vietnam.
Tiger grew up in Cypress, California. Before he could even walk, Tiger was watching and imitating his father's golf swing. By the time he was 2, Tiger was on the Michael Douglas Show, putting with Bob Hope. Also at age 2, Tiger shot an amazing 48 for 9 holes. Tiger was in the Golf Digest by the age of 5. Looks like he was on the road to fame.
Nike
If you're a golf fan, then you've probably seen Tiger in some tournament. Nike is obviously the company that sponsors Tiger, and that Tiger advertises. You'll usually see him in Nike hats, shirts, shoes, and more. Nike is represented by the SWOOSH! (I'm sure you've all seen it before)
